Extremely easy Modding.

Well ive hit a problem, after transfering to usb ive played it to test it worked but plugged it into a comp and when i open it up the drive has n files in it. Did i miss something?

Have you set your computer to show hidden files?

Yup, modding by USB is by far the easiest way atm I believe. It's unbelievably simple and you can do a fair amount of stuff.
